(a) Except as provided by § 245.004, a person may not establish or operate an abortion facility in this state without an appropriate license issued under this chapter.
(b) Each abortion facility must have a separate license.

- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
(c) A license is not transferable or assignable.
