Terms Used In Texas Health and Safety Code 595.006
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
Except as authorized by a court order under § 595.005, a confidential record may not be used to:
(1) initiate or substantiate a criminal charge against a person receiving services; or
(2) conduct an investigation of a person receiving services.
