- Justice: when applied to a magistrate, means justice of the peace. See Texas Government Code 312.011
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The following persons are immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter:
(1) an employee or officer of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice or the office;
(2) a member of the multidisciplinary team established under § 841.022;
(3) the applicable attorney representing the state and an employee of the attorney; and
(4) a person providing, or contracting, appointed, or volunteering to perform, a tracking service or another service under this chapter.
