- Justice: when applied to a magistrate, means justice of the peace. See Texas Government Code 312.011
The Texas Juvenile Justice Board and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department are subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter, the board and the department are abolished September 1, 2027.
