(a) The department shall collect a fee in an amount determined by the commissioner for the filing of the form of a document under this chapter.
(b) The fee may not exceed:
(1) $100 for filing the form of a new or amended document that is not exempt from review under § 1701.005(b); and
(2) $50 for filing the form of a new or amended document that is exempt from review under § 1701.005(b).
