Terms Used In Texas Labor Code 104A.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this chapter:
(1) “Commission” means the Texas Workforce Commission.
(2) “Employee” means an individual who is employed by an employer for compensation.
(3) “Employer” means a person who employs one or more employees.
