Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 335.021
- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
- Venue: The geographical location in which a case is tried.
A county and a municipality, two or more counties, two or more municipalities, or a combination of municipalities, counties, or municipalities and counties may create a venue district under this chapter to plan, acquire, establish, develop, construct, or renovate one or more venue projects in the district subject to voter approval under Subchapter D.
