- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department, using appropriated funds, may purchase food and beverages for a department employee who is:
(1) providing services in response to an emergency situation, an incident that endangers the health or safety of a person, or a disaster; and
(2) unable to leave or required to remain at the employee’s assignment area due to the emergency situation, incident, or disaster.
