Terms Used In Texas Water Code 67.001
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
In this chapter:
(1) “Board” means the board of directors of a corporation.
(2) “Corporation” means a water supply or sewer service corporation operating under this chapter.
(3) “Director” means a member of the board of directors.
