- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
A corporation to which § 67.007 does not apply shall comply with the annual meeting and director election provisions prescribed by Chapter 22, Business Organizations Code.
