(1) |
The town clerk or other designated person shall prepare and present to the council:
Terms Used In Utah Code 10-5-129- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, organization, association, trust, governmental agency, or any other legal entity. See Utah Code 10-1-104
- Town: means a municipality classified by population as a town under Section 10-2-301. See Utah Code 10-1-104
(a) |
(i) |
a quarterly financial report; or |
(ii) |
upon request by the council, a financial report more frequently than each quarter; and |

(b) |
an annual financial report within 180 days after the close of each fiscal year. |

(2) |
The requirement described in Subsection (1)(b) may be satisfied by an audit report or annual financial report of an independent auditor. |
