19-2-119. Civil or criminal remedies not excluded — Actionable rights under chapter — No liability for acts of God or other catastrophes.

Existing civil or criminal remedies for a wrongful action that is a violation of the law are not excluded by this chapter. |
Terms Used In Utah Code 19-2-119
- Board: means the Air Quality Board. See Utah Code 19-2-102
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5

Except as provided in Sections 19-1-301 and 19-1-301.5, and rules implementing those provisions, persons other than the state or the board do not acquire actionable rights by virtue of this chapter. |

The liabilities imposed for violation of this chapter are not imposed for a violation caused by an act of God, war, strike, riot, or other catastrophe. |
