31A-26-403.  Rulemaking.
     The commissioner may make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act:

(1)  addressing the forms required by this part;

Terms Used In Utah Code 31A-26-403

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Insured: means a person to whom or for whose benefit an insurer makes a promise in an insurance policy and includes:
(i) a policyholder;
(ii) a subscriber;
(iii) a member; and
(iv) a beneficiary. See Utah Code 31A-1-301
  • Public adjuster: means a person required to be licensed under Section 31A-26-201, who engages in insurance adjusting as a representative of insureds and claimants under insurance policies. See Utah Code 31A-26-102
    • (2)  providing for notice requirements in contracts; and

    (3)  establishing the scope of a contract a public adjuster enters into with an insured that the public adjuster represents.
