Terms Used In Utah Code 78B-11-114

  • Arbitrator: means an individual appointed to render an award, alone or with others, in a controversy that is subject to an agreement to arbitrate. See Utah Code 78B-11-102
     If there is more than one arbitrator, the powers of an arbitrator must be exercised by a majority of the arbitrators, but all of them shall conduct the hearing under Subsection 78B-11-116(3).
