9-20-206. Reporting and administration.
| (1) |
The executive director, in consultation with the commission, shall appoint a director of the commission who is:

- Department: means the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement. See Utah Code 9-1-102
- Executive director: means the executive director of the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement. See Utah Code 9-1-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5

experienced in administration; and |
| (b) |
qualified by education or training in the field of public administration. |

| (2) |
The director of the commission shall report to the executive director. |
| (3) |
The commission shall:
| (a) |
report to the office of the lieutenant governor; and |
| (b) |
by January 1, provide an annual written report to the lieutenant governor on service and volunteerism in the state. |

| (4) |
The department shall provide administrative and staff support services to the commission. |
