- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Intellectual disability: means a significant, subaverage general intellectual functioning that:Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Intermediate care facility for people with an intellectual disability: means an intermediate care facility for the mentally retarded, as defined in Title XIX of the Social Security Act. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Medicaid program: means the state program for medical assistance for persons who are eligible under the state plan adopted pursuant to Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act. See Utah Code 26B-3-101
- Month: means a calendar month, unless otherwise expressed. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Nursing care facility: means :
(i) a nursing care facility as defined in Section 26B-2-201; (ii) beginning January 1, 2006, a designated swing bed in: (A) a general acute hospital as defined in Section 26B-2-201; and (B) a critical access hospital which meets the criteria of 42 U. See Utah Code 26B-3-401 - Patient day: means each calendar day in which an individual patient is admitted to the nursing care facility during a calendar month, even if on a temporary leave of absence from the facility. See Utah Code 26B-3-401
- Person: means :Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Property: includes both real and personal property. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
