In addition to the exemptions set forth in RCW 41.06.070, the provisions of this chapter shall not apply in the department of agriculture to the director, the director’s confidential secretary, the deputy director, not more than eight assistant directors, the state veterinarian, and the milk pooling administrator employed under RCW 15.35.100.

Terms Used In Washington Code 41.06.084

  • Department: means an agency of government that has as its governing officer a person, or combination of persons such as a commission, board, or council, by law empowered to operate the agency responsible either to (a) no other public officer or (b) the governor. See Washington Code 41.06.020
  • Director: means the director of financial management or the director's designee. See Washington Code 41.06.020
