This article applies to any person, partnership, corporation or business firm engaging in the wholesale distribution of human prescription drugs within this state.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 60A-8-2
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: means any individual, partnership, association, limited liability company, corporation or other entity. See West Virginia Code 60A-8-5
- State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
