Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 807.11

  • Clerk of court: An officer appointed by the court to work with the chief judge in overseeing the court's administration, especially to assist in managing the flow of cases through the court and to maintain court records.
   (1)    An order is rendered when it is signed by the judge.
   (2)   An order is entered when it is filed in the office of the clerk of court.
