Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 14A:1-5
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
This act may be supplemented, altered, amended or repealed by the Legislature, and every corporation, domestic or foreign, to which this act applies shall be bound thereby.
