- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
When a foreign limited liability company that is registered under this chapter, or that conducts affairs in this state without being registered under this chapter, fails to appoint or maintain a registered agent in this state, when a registered agent cannot with reasonable diligence be found at the registered office, or when the registration of a foreign company is suspended or revoked, the commissioner is an agent upon whom process, notice, or demand may be served. Service is made upon the commissioner as provided in Alaska Stat. § 10.50.065(b).
