Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the commission shall establish rules for the commercial take, sale, transport, export, or import of native amphibians.

Terms Used In California Fish and Game Code 6896
- Commission: means the Fish and Game Commission, and "commissioner" means a member of the Fish and Game Commission. See California Fish and Game Code 30
- Native amphibians: as used in this article means salamanders, toads, or any other member of the class amphibia native to California. See California Fish and Game Code 6895
- Take: means hunt, pursue, catch, capture, or kill, or attempt to hunt, pursue, catch, capture, or kill. See California Fish and Game Code 86
- Transport: includes offer or receive for transportation. See California Fish and Game Code 88
