Nothing in sections 38a-702a to 38a-702q, inclusive, shall be construed as applicable to bail bond insurance under chapter 700f, or title insurance under chapter 700a.

- Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
