(a) Each third-party administrator seeking to renew a license issued pursuant to § 38a-720j shall submit a renewal filing in the form and containing such information as the commissioner prescribes, including evidence that the surety bond required under subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of § 38a-720j and, if applicable, subsection (h) of § 38a-720j, remain in force. The information contained in such renewal filing shall be verified by at least two officers of the third-party administrator.

  • Commissioner: means the Insurance Commissioner. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-702a
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • License: means a document issued by the commissioner authorizing a person to act as an insurance producer for the lines of authority specified in the document. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-702a

(b) The renewal filing shall include the complete names and addresses of all insurers or other persons with which the third-party administrator had written agreements during the preceding fiscal year.
