  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

The owner or person in possession of any farm product classified in accordance with section 22-704 may appeal from such classification to the department, under such rules and regulations as the department may prescribe, which shall issue a certificate of the grade or other classification thereof.
