Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 215 ILCS 5/1311

  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     No group policy or group certificate of mortgage insurance used in connection with a consolidation, nor any application, endorsement or rider which becomes a part of any such group policy or certificate, may be issued or delivered in this State until a copy of the form has been filed with and approved by the Director.
