Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 215 ILCS 5/531.15

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
     The Association shall be subject to examination and regulation by the Director. The board of directors must submit to the Director, not later than the first day of the fifth month following the end of the Association’s fiscal year, a financial report for such fiscal year in a form acceptable to the Director and a report of its activities during such fiscal year.
