Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 1920/90

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
     Within 60 days after the end of its fiscal year, the Authority shall cause to be prepared by a certified public accountant a complete and detailed report and financial statement of the operations and assets and liabilities as relate to the 25th Avenue railroad grade separation project and the First Avenue railroad grade separation project. A reasonably sufficient number of copies of the report shall be prepared for distribution to persons interested, upon request, and a copy of the report shall be filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission and with the county clerk of Cook County.
