- commission: refers to the Indiana utility regulatory commission. See Indiana Code 8-1-1-1
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
Sec. 12. This chapter does not reduce or supersede the commission‘s jurisdiction under IC 8-1-2-86 and IC 8-1.5-6.
