Current as of: 2009 IC 8-22-3-1.1 Establishment of airport authorities in certain counties Sec. 1.1. (a) Notwithstanding section 1 of this chapter, an airport authority is established in a county having a population of more than three hundred thousand (300,000) but less than four hundred thousand (400,000). (b) For the purposes of this chapter, an authority established under this section shall be treated as if it had been established by an ordinance of the fiscal body of the county. However, section 2 of this chapter does not apply to such an authority. (c) The name of an authority established under this section is "(name of second class city)-(name of county) Airport Authority". As added by P.L.100-1985, SEC.1. Amended by P.L.12-1992, SEC.67.
