- Board: means the board of directors of the association. See Kansas Statutes 40-2118
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of insurance. See Kansas Statutes 40-2118
- Plan: means the Kansas uninsurable health insurance plan created pursuant to this act. See Kansas Statutes 40-2118
(a) Not later than July 1, 1993, and July 1 of each succeeding year, the board shall submit an audited financial report for the plan for the preceding calendar year to the commissioner in a form provided or prescribed by the commissioner.
(b) The financial status of the plan shall be subject to examination by the commissioner or the commissioner’s designee. Such examination shall be conducted at least once every five years. The commissioner shall transmit a copy of the results of such examination to the legislature by February 1 of the year following the year in which the examination is conducted.
