Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 40-2213
- Policy: means , except as otherwise provided in subsection (e), any individual or group policy, contract, subscriber agreement, rider or endorsement delivered or issued for delivery in this state by an insurer, fraternal benefit society, nonprofit medical and hospital service corporation, prepaid health plan, health maintenance organization or any similar organization. See Kansas Statutes 40-2227
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
A policy, rider or endorsement, which could have been lawfully used or delivered or issued for delivery to any person in this state immediately before the effective date of this act may be used or delivered or issued for delivery to any such person during five (5) years after the effective date of this act without being subject to the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 40-2202, 40-2203 or 40-2204.
