Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-2105

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

All providers of rural gas service under the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 66-2101 through 66-2106, and amendments thereto, will comply with all applicable pipeline safety laws including rules and regulations adopted by the state corporation commission pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 66-1,150, and amendments thereto.
