Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 75-4312

  • Oath: includes an affirmation in all cases where an affirmation may be substituted for an oath, and in similar cases "swear" includes affirm. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

All persons employed by the state or any agency thereof or by any city, county or other municipality or by any public school or by any private school, college or university receiving public funds as defined by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-4308, at the time this act becomes effective shall take and subscribe the oath required by this act and shall file said oath in writing with the appropriate officer designated by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-4310 on or before January 1, 1969, and any such officer or employee failing so to do shall be subjected to the penalties as in this act prescribed.
