Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:412
- Agency: means any governmental body employing persons and includes departments, agencies, boards, commissions, and courts. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:403
- System: means the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:403
For purposes of determining eligibility for membership in this system, the legislature shall provide by law whether or not the types of agency service performed by employees, elected officials, and appointed officials of new agencies are within the scope of the provisions of this Chapter.
