§ 40:1275.1	The legislature hereby declares that severe head injuries represent one of the greatest public health problems in the United States because of the frequency and potential for causing
§ 40:1275.2	For purposes of this Part, the following definitions shall apply:
§ 40:1275.3	The office shall establish a central registry of persons with severe head injuries and shall collect data on the nature, causes, and effects of severe head injuries. The office, by r
§ 40:1275.4	The department shall promulgate rules and regulations in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act to implement the requirements of this Part.

Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Corporation: means any corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 51:1151
Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
Governing body: means the board or body in which the general legislative powers of the municipality or the parish are vested. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 51:1151
Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). ^{Source: OCC}
Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
Project: means any anti-pollution project or any development project or any combination thereof. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 51:1151
