• Appraisal: A determination of property value.
• Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
• Indemnification: In general, a collateral contract or assurance under which one person agrees to secure another person against either anticipated financial losses or potential adverse legal consequences. ^{Source: FDIC}
• Person: means an individual, association, joint venture, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, political subdivision, municipality, or public or private organization of any character, including any agency, department, board, bureau, office, commission, district, corporation, and quasi-public corporation of the federal, state, municipal, or local government. • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
