  • state: means :

    (1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

    (2) the District of Columbia. See
The Insurance Commissioner of the Maryland Insurance Administration is hereby appointed as the State of Maryland’s representative to the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission.
