Section 70. An attachment of land which is subject to a mortgage or other encumbrance shall, if the mortgage is redeemed or the encumbrance is removed before the levy of the execution, hold the land discharged of the mortgage or encumbrance, and execution may be levied in the same manner and with the same effect as if it had never existed.
