Terms Used In Michigan Laws 460.629
- Commission: means the propane commission created in section 3. See Michigan Laws 460.622
- month: means a calendar month; the word "year" a calendar year; and the word "year" alone shall be equivalent to the words "year of our Lord". See Michigan Laws 8.3j
- Person: means an individual, partnership, corporation, association, cooperative, limited liability company, or any other business entity. See Michigan Laws 460.622
A person that fails to collect or remit an assessment under this act shall pay to the commission the amount due, plus both of the following:
(a) A late fee of 10% of the amount due.
(b) An additional late fee of 1% of the amount due for each month the payment is overdue.
