Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 367:23
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The first meeting of the new corporation shall be called by the presidents of the corporations which united to form it, or by either of them, by publishing a notice of the time and place of meeting and of the subjects to be there acted upon, in one or more newspapers published in each county through or into which the railroads of the uniting corporations extend.
