Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 422-B:17
- Continuance: Putting off of a hearing ot trial until a later time.
- Person: means any individual, firm, co-partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock association, or body politic, including the state and any political subdivision thereof, and includes any trustee, receiver, assignee, or other similar representative thereof. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 422-B:2
Whoever violates or fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter or with regulations promulgated hereunder shall be guilty of a misdemeanor if a natural person, or guilty of a felony if any other person. Each day’s continuance of a violation of this chapter shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
