Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 526:5
- Docket: A log containing brief entries of court proceedings.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Whenever a new trial is granted the action shall be brought forward on the docket of the court, and shall be tried as if no judgment had been rendered therein.
