Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 18A:38-7.12
- County superintendent: means the County Superintendent of Schools. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:1-1
- District: means a school district. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:1-1
- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. Persons of school age who reside in a multi-district federal enclave shall be deemed to be domiciled in a single district to be designated by the county superintendent of schools. Where all persons of school age who reside in a multi-district federal enclave already attend a single district, the county superintendent shall designate that district as the district to be attended by all current and future pupils residing in the multi-district federal enclave. Any person attending on the effective date of this act a school in a district other than a district designated by the county superintendent pursuant to this act shall be permitted to continue in such school until graduation.
