ยง 189-g. Appointment of district treasurer. The board of fire commissioners shall appoint to serve during its pleasure, a district treasurer, who shall receive and have the custody of the funds of the district and shall disburse the same for the purposes herein authorized on the order of the board of fire commissioners. The board of fire commissioners also shall appoint a district secretary, who shall have the custody of all the records, books and papers of the district. The secretary shall attend all meetings of the board of fire commissioners and act as clerk thereof, shall keep a complete and accurate record of the proceedings of each meeting; and shall have and exercise such additional duties as the board of fire commissioners may determine not inconsistent with law.
