Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 106-145.1

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. This Article establishes a State licensing program for wholesale distributors to enable wholesale distributors to comply with federal law.  This Article shall be construed to do only that required for compliance with 21 U.S.C. § 353(e) and 21 C.F.R. part 205.  This Article shall be interpreted to be consistent with 21 C.F.R. part 205, Guidelines for State Licensing of Wholesale Prescription Drug Distributors.  In the event of a conflict, the federal law controls.
