The Textbook Commission, as created by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 115C-87 and the laws of this State, is hereby transferred by a Type I transfer to the Department of Public Instruction. (1971, c. 864, s. 7; 1983, c. 768, s. 18; 1993, c. 522, s. 15.)
