§ 113-175.1 North Carolina Marine Resources Fund
§ 113-175.5 North Carolina Marine Resources Endowment Fund

Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes > Chapter 113 > Article 14C - Marine Resources Fund and Marine Resources Endowment Fund

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Endowment Fund: means the North Carolina Marine Resources Endowment Fund. See North Carolina General Statutes 113-175
  • Endowment investment income: means interest and other income earned from the investment of the principal of the Endowment Fund. See North Carolina General Statutes 113-175
  • Endowment license revenues: means the net proceeds from the sale of licenses issued under N. See North Carolina General Statutes 113-175
  • following: when used by way of reference to any section of a statute, shall be construed to mean the section next preceding or next following that in which such reference is made; unless when some other section is expressly designated in such reference. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Marine Resources Fund: means the North Carolina Marine Resources Fund. See North Carolina General Statutes 113-175
  • Marine resources investment income: means interest earned from the investment of the principal of the Marine Resources Fund. See North Carolina General Statutes 113-175
  • Marine resources license revenues: means the net proceeds from the sale of licenses issued under Article 14B of this Chapter and a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of licenses issued under Article 25A of this Chapter, excluding endowment license revenues.   • Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
