(1) Upon entry of an order designating an auxiliary court under ORS § 25.100, the auxiliary court has jurisdiction to compel compliance with an order or judgment for payment of support the same as if it were the court that made and entered the original order or judgment.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

(2) The only courts that have jurisdiction to modify any provision of the original order or judgment are:

(a) The court having original jurisdiction of the cause in which the order or judgment was entered; and

(b) An auxiliary court designated under ORS § 25.100.

(3) When an auxiliary court enters an order or judgment under this section, the clerk of the auxiliary court shall forward the order or judgment to the clerk of the court in which the original order or judgment was entered. The clerk of the court in which the original order or judgment was entered shall file the auxiliary court’s order or judgment in the original court file.
