Delay by the filing office beyond a time limit prescribed by ORS § 79.0501 to 79.0528 is excused if:

- Equipment: means goods other than inventory, farm products or consumer goods. See Oregon Statutes 79.0102
- Filing office: means an office designated in ORS § 79. See Oregon Statutes 79.0102
(1) The delay is caused by interruption of communication or computer facilities, war, emergency conditions, failure of equipment or other circumstances beyond control of the filing office; and
(2) The filing office exercises reasonable diligence under the circumstances. [2001 c.445 § 95]
